This species is sympatric
with C.
similis and
Corydoras
sp. C066. There is
another look-a-like from the State of Rondônia
which has a different head shape and the position
of the caudal blotch. Lineage: Placed
in Lineage 1. When there is a revision they will stay
as Corydoras (Lacépède, 1803)
with the type species of C. geoffroy La Cépède,
1803. Aquarium Care: As per this
genus, housed with non aggressive species or a species
tank. Buy at least 6 as they will stay together in
the tank which will make them feel more comfortable
in their surroundings. Diet: As per
this genus with a good quality flake food, tablet,
frozen and small worm foods.
