Description:
Hemidoras morrisi has no midventral plates
and the distal tip of dorsal fin is hyaline (clear).
Etymology: The specific name morrisi:
in honour of Percival Morris, who collected type and
served as Eigenmann’s assistant, majordomo and
interpreter in the Iquitos region of Peru.
