Aquarium Care: Treat as with all members
of the Hypoptopomatinae such as the Otocinclus/Parotocinclus
genera with a planted aquarium and an overall cooler

dialeukos, from the Greek dialeukos, means
marked with white, in reference to the white or light
cream colour of the cheek. A noun in apposition. Remarks:
There are now 6 species (2021) in this relatevely
new genera, Otothyropsis alicula, O.
biamnicus, O.
marapoama,O.
piribebuy,O. polyodon and O. dialeukos.
