Description:
Similar looking as to S.
soloni which
has a darker body, shorter humeral process and a shorter
body length. The characteristics of S. camelopardalis
is that the inner mandibular barbels are thickened
with many branches. Aquarium Care:
Keep in the same conditions as S.
brichardi. Remarks:
The last two leucistic
specimens have been tentatively identified due to
the mandibular teeth structure. They were collected
at the Kinsuka falls (rapids) in the Congo Dem Rep.
This species is a lot rarer in imports.
