Aquarium Care:
Only fit for a large tank as this Pim is very much
a predator and would need to be housed with larger
fish too big to fit in to its mouth. Noted for the
black blotch in the lower caudal fin. A pretty catfish
that loses its colour as it matures.

Amazon and Orinoco River basins. Type locality:
Brazil; Fort St. Joaquim on the Rio Branco.
