Description:
Dorsal soft rays (total): 4; Anal soft rays: 44 -
55; Vertebrae: 48 - 52. Mature males with bifurcated
serrae on the pectoral spine; zero or one gill raker
on first branchial arch; and depth of caudal peduncle
6.3-9.5% SL. Habitat: Occurs in both
acid water forest streams and blackwater habitats
in peat swamps. Also found in blackwater streams in
lowland and upland areas. Remarks:
The species pictured was photographed in a subterranean
stream in Jambusan, Borneo.

109º47'0.8"E).
