This is a large genus with
over 100 species described. Habitat:
Occurs in creeks with rocky substrates swept by a
strong current. Diet: Will feed on
most aquarium fare such as tablet, frozen and live
foods. Remarks:
Still found on some online sources as Trichomycterus
guianense.
